Andreja Rackov Appointed Deputy Acting Director of the National Theatre in Belgrade

Andreja Rackov, artist and manager with extensive experience in the field of culture and performing arts, has been appointed Deputy Acting Director of the National Theatre in Belgrade.
Born in 1981 in Belgrade into a musical family, Rackov graduated from the “Mokranjac” Secondary Music School – piano department, and earned his degree from the Faculty of Music in Belgrade in 2006, where he also completed the course in Media Department.
As a longtime member of the “Obilić” choir of the Branko Krsmanović Academic Cultural and Artistic Society, and later as Chairman of the Board, he collaborated with numerous conductors and participated in organizing concerts and tours both in Serbia and abroad.
He gained years of professional experience at the Opera and Theatre “Madlenianum,” where he held several key positions, including General Director and Artistic Director of Opera and Ballet. During his tenure, he oversaw numerous productions and initiated collaborations with prominent institutions and artists from Serbia and abroad.
With Rackov’s appointment, the National Theatre in Belgrade continues its path of development and enhancement of the national stage, relying on his expertise, experience, and international credentials.
