A Word from the Director

Manuscripts burn. There is no happy ending. While we fantasize about utopian tranquillity and peace, we realise that we are already dead. It was not God who wore us out, but human society. If we believe in the devil, we also believe in God, and vice versa. It is not a religious but a phenomenological question. But there's no playing with the devil. The bill must be paid. What does a man do? A man does nothing. A man is sold. He sold himself and behaves accordingly. If we believe in love, we still defy. All ideologies and human order. We dream about freedom. But that is not true. We dream about peace and tranquillity. The devil is playing with us. And the man is playing. In the theatre. In that fragile space of freedom and truth.
Until it all burns...
